The Just BU In School program includes a panel of 3 guests from different backgrounds from  celebrity, business, sport and local communities who share their personal story- the good, the bad AND the ugly! Each Panel is unique and may focus on school based issues such as bullying, depression, individuality, communicating with peers and adults, what it means to Just BU and advice on the direction/s to take after leaving school. The Panels are held at indivisual schools for 1.5 hours. The In School Panels are aimed at Year 9-12 students and engage approx 100- 250 students at each session. The panels are relaxed, chatty and open to student questions and input. There are no power point presentations.

Career/ Transition Day

Current statistics show that most of today's students will change careers at least 5 times during their working lives. Many students are unaware or confussed about where to start once they finish school, the options they have and how these choices can effect them.

Just BU can tailor a Panel for your student body around topics such as-

• Career Choices
• Career Alternatives
• Work/ Volunteer experience
• Writing a CV
• Job interviews including appropriate dress, make up, interview tips Pressures/ stresses felt by students to make such an important decission What to do if "I have no idea of what I'd like to do once I've finished school"
• Goal setting- long and short term
• Does “passion” = a job
• “It’s OK 2 Just BU”- finding your personal skills and translating them into potential career options

Our 3 Panelists will share their personal stories, experiences, tips and practical advice on the above topics.
